I made some spicy oil to put on rice, in soups, and Asian-inspired dishes.
Here’s how I did it.

-finely chop 3-4 jalapeño peppers and add to a jar
-add red chili flakes to the jar
-add 1 teaspoon of sugar
-add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
-fill up the jar with peanut oil

I used the cold-infusion method.  Put the jars in the fridge overnight and let it solidify.  Pour out any excess water and let it thaw.  Give it a stir once a day for 2-4 weeks.
